We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a proven ability to manage a team effectively. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently, providing support to both staff and management.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a productive work environment.
* Manage administrative tasks including scheduling maintenance visits, maintaining records, and handling correspondence.
* Supervise and support office staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
* Implement organisational systems to improve efficiency and workflow.
* Maintain office supplies inventory and liaise with vendors for procurement.
* Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
* Prepare financial reports using and assist with accounts tasks.
* Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity in operations.
Experience
* Proven experience in an administrative or office management role.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience in supervising teams and managing staff performance.
* Proficiency in clerical tasks, including data entry and document management.
* Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous.
* A background in building works is preferred, but not essential
