Business Development Manager

Salary: Disclosed on Brief

Location: Cheshire (Hybrid, 4 days in office, 1 day remote)


I am partnering exclusively with FuelHub to find their next key hire.

You have likely seen FuelHub on major sports channels, the BBC, or even on Netflix. The UK’s most trusted premium meal prep company that powers elite performance. We aren't talking about average meals here; we are talking about fresh, nutritionist-designed, chef-prepared fuel trusted by the very best athletes and teams in the UK.


Founded in 2019 by Michelle and James Laithwaite—a husband and wife team with backgrounds in high-end retail and professional rugby—they spotted a gap in the market for genuine, high-quality nutrition that fits a demanding schedule. They didn't just fill the gap; they dominated it.


Now, they need a Business Development Manager to help drive their next chapter of scale.


The Role

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Growth, a leader who has already made a massive impact and is now expanding the team. This is a proper commercial growth position that blends sales, partnerships, and account management.


You will be responsible for attacking and scaling two massive verticals: Professional Sports and Corporate Clients.


What You Will Actually Be Doing

* Hunting New Business: You will support the Head of Growth in prospecting and pipeline management. This means researching, qualifying, and engaging new opportunities.
* Closing Deals: You won't just be setting appointments; you will conduct discovery calls, prepare proposals, and assist in getting deals over the line.
* Managing Partnerships: You will act as the day-to-day contact for existing teams and business clients, building relationships that drive retention.
* Running Events: This is a hands-on brand. You will assist in planning and executing tasting sessions, wellness days, and sports team visits.
* Owning the B2B Presence: You will manage and grow the "Fuel Hub for Business" LinkedIn page, creating content that showcases these high-profile partnerships.


This Is For You If...

* You have B2B experience: You bring 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or account management. If that is in food, wellness, sports, or hospitality, even better.
* You are a self-starter: You thrive in entrepreneurial environments where you can see the direct impact of your work.
* You can talk to anyone: You are confident engaging senior stakeholders, from Sports Performance Directors to corporate HR Leads.
* You are organised: You know your way around a CRM (HubSpot is preferred) and can manage a pipeline without needing your hand held.
* You live the lifestyle: You have a genuine interest in health, nutrition, or sport. You get why this product matters.


The Package

* Salary: Disclosed on Brief
* Hybrid Working: 4 days at the Cheshire HQ, 1 day remote.
