Job Description
Are you a natural foodie with a passion for the kitchen? Grosvenor Casino is seeking a Head Chef to lead culinary success at our venue. We want our Head Chef to create a destination by delivering tasty, homely food through effective leadership of the kitchen team. We welcome innovative ideas for revenue growth, profitability, and challenging the status quo!
You will:
* Acknowledge, welcome, and assist customers
* Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions
* Collaborate as part of the wider casino management team
* Recruit, train, develop, and retain chefs and kitchen staff; create plans based on objectives and goals during appraisals and reviews
* Manage stock control and achieve business GP margins
* Organize regular menu taste panels for the Front of House team
* Ensure compliance with NSF, EHO, and relevant audits
* Review menus and provide feedback to the Food & Beverage team at head office
* Ensure all menus meet brand standards and specifications
