Our client is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to strengthen its governance, compliance, and continuous improvement culture across complex technical operations.

Your new role As Quality Systems Manager, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continually improving the organisation's integrated management system.
Key Responsibilities
* Owning and developing the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned to ISO 9001 and wider compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
* Planning, delivering, and reporting internal audit programmes; supporting external audits and regulatory inspections.
* Analysing quality metrics, identifying trends, and driving targeted improvement initiatives.
* Supporting operational teams with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and process optimisation.
* Acting as the subject‑matter expert for quality governance, standards, and documentation control.
* Leading stakeholder engagement across engineering, operations, HSE, and project delivery teams.
This role offers strong visibility across the organisation and the chance to shape high reliability systems in a critical infrastructure environment.
What you’ll need to succeed
* Experienced Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer background in engineering, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or other regulated technical sectors.
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and integrated management systems.
* Proven track record delivering audits, leading investigations, and improving QMS maturity.
* Ability to engage effectively with cross‑functional teams and influence best practice.
* Strong analytical skills with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
* Excellent communication and document writing skills.
* Desirable: Experience in energy storage, gas, infrastructure, or heavy engineering environments.
* Knowledge of risk management methodologies and process improvement tools (e.g., 5 Whys, FMEA, Lean, RCA).
