We are recruiting for experienced Direct Payments Case Worker in the Blackpool area – you will need experience in a similar Local Authority role.
As a caseworker, your responsibilities will include:
* Communicating effectively to guide and support both current and prospective users of the scheme on recruitment and employment matters.
* Monitoring, supporting, advising, and assisting users in managing their Direct Payments packages and finances.
* Reviewing, monitoring, and examining financial records and other relevant documentation held by Direct Payments recipients. This includes keeping detailed records using Microsoft Excel, therefore experience with this programme is essential.
* Conducting home visits and building strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
* Promoting and raising awareness of Direct Payments while contributing to the service’s ongoing development.
* Keeping up-to-date with employment issues and agency provisions.
