Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Registered Professional (Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or OT).
* Mentorship qualification.
* Evidence of post registration further development.
* Relevant post registration experience.
Desirable criteria
* Degree in Health Care related subject.
* Qualification in psychosocial interventions in mental health.
* KUF training
Experience
Essential criteria
* Post qualification experience to include appropriate experience within an acute mental health care setting and / or significant experience within community, crisis care, or liaison psychiatry.
* Experience of working with other professions within a multi-disciplinary team
* To understand and have experience of risk management
* Experience of working independently
Desirable criteria
* Advanced Assessment Skills training
* Experience with telephone triage within a Single Point of Access Service
* Experience of Psychiatric Liaison services
Knowledge & Skills
Essential criteria
* Knowledge of relevant mental health law.
* Knowledge of adult and children safeguarding requirements.
Desirable criteria
* Knowledge of RiO patient record system.
* Accredited training in customer service
