Registered Manager Childrens Residential Home (Ofsted) Camden, London N8
Salary: £53,000 base + bonuses up to £7,800 | OTE: £60,800 per annum
Position Overview
An experienced and passionate Registered Manager is required to lead a Childrens Residential Home in Camden (N8). This role demands a qualified leader with a strong background in childrens social care and residential management, specifically within Ofsted-regulated settings.
The Registered Manager will take full responsibility for home operations, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding standards, and measurable positive outcomes for children and young people aged 818.

Key Responsibilities
Home Management and Leadership
Oversee daily operations of the childrens home
Provide a nurturing, structured, and safe environment
Lead, manage, and develop the staff team to maintain high standards of care
Regulatory and Safeguarding Compliance
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations
Uphold a robust safeguarding culture and lead child protection practices
Maintain and implement up-to-date policies and procedures
Quality Assurance and Strategic Improvement
Drive continuous improvement and development planning
Foster strong partnerships with local authorities, families, and external agencies
Ensure and maintain a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating
Essential Requirements
Minimum age: 21 (in accordance with Childrens Homes Regulations)
Right to work in the UK
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
Minimum of 5 years experience in childrens social care (at least 2 years in a senior/leadership role)
NVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care, Youth Work, or Education
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young Peoples Residential Management), or working towards completion
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Experience in achieving positive Ofsted inspection outcomes
Commitment to Safeguarding
