Barback / Commis Waiter
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and professional Barback / Commis Waiter for our award winning Palm Court Restaurant.
The Langham, London is currently looking to recruit a Barback / Commis Waiter in our Palm Court lounge. The dazzling Palm Court is famed as the place where the tradition of afternoon tea was born over 150 years ago.

As a Barback / Commis Waiter in Palm Court, your main role will be to –
7. as a strong Palm Court team member ensuring that the service is running smoothly
8. ensure restaurant pantry and bar is set for service
9. ensure that all cutlery, crockery, glassware and trays are spotless and clean before and during service
10. prepare and locate all mise-en-place in strategic areas in the restaurant
11. responsible for linen for the restaurant
12. prepare and serve hot beverage as ordered
13. assist on the pass and serve food

The ideal Barback / Commis Waiter in Palm Court will have –
15. previous experience in a similar Restaurant or Hospitality environment
16. excellent customer service skills; ability to anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile
17. strong interest and passion for food & beverage
