The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Operations & Finance Officer to support the General Manager in driving operational excellence and financial sustainability. This role involves developing and implementing strategies, policies, and protocols to ensure outstanding service delivery and meet performance targets.
The post includes managing two leisure centres, ensuring high standards of service, staff performance, and customer satisfaction. The role also involves managing the Trust's financial resources to achieve value for money and developing service efficiencies.
You will deputise for the General Manager in their absence, ensuring leadership continuity, chair the Leisure Trust Joint Consultative Committee (JCC), and assist in union negotiations and consultations.
The Candidate:
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with experience in operations and financial management who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about community services.
Requirements
This role is considered a Regulated Role under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020. Membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details can be found here.
