Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Deal. They are seeking an experienced Semi Senior to join their team. The successful candidate will ideally be studying the AAT, or be AAT qualified with a minimum of 1-3 years experience in practice, or qualified by this position, the successful candidate will be given a great opportunity to develop their technical ability, and career while working with a supportive team around them. Our client services a range of local owner managed businesses from sole traders, through to Ltd companies and partnerships.Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of statutory accounts
2. Preparation of, or support with management accounts for a variety of clients
3. Preparation of corporate tax and personal tax computations
4. Preparation of VAT returns
5. General bookkeeping using cloud software- Xero, QuickBooks, Sage etc.
6. Supporting the directors with ad-hoc advisory work
