Accounts Assistant | Lancaster | £28,000 - £30,000 Adaptable Recruitment are partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking business based in the Lancaster area to recruit for an Accounts Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and supportive finance team in a varied role that covers key transactional responsibilities across both purchase and sales ledger functions. Key Responsibilities: Process and maintain supplier and customer account records, including set-ups, credit checks, invoicing, and reconciliations. Manage day-to-day purchase ledger tasks including invoice processing, payment preparation, and resolving supplier queries. Assist with sales ledger duties such as raising and issuing invoices, managing receipts, and credit control. Perform bank reconciliations and process ad hoc payments. Handle employee expenses and company credit card reconciliations. Support month-end tasks and provide assistance to the wider finance team as required. What We're Looking For: Previous experience in a finance or accounts role essential Sage 50 experience essential Strong accuracy and attention to detail, with good Excel skills. A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
