Senior Transport Planner
Location: Bristol
Salary: 45k – 55k dependent on experience
Emtech are working with a growing Transport & Infrastructure consultancy who are looking for a Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner with at least 3 years industry experience to join their team in Bristol.
In this role you will be working in a growing transport team working on a broad range of projects across healthcare, education, commercial, residential and urban regeneration. This role will give you the chance to take on project running responsibility with support from experienced team members. Ideally you will have the following experience:
* Experience in private sector development planning projects including the production of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans
* Experience in public sector facing transport planning projects
* An understanding of the planning process in England
* Experience of public sector governance processes and working in a political environment
* Experience in the production of, and providing advice regarding, transport strategies and policies
* Knowledge and experience of applying government policy and guidance to projects
* Excellent communication skills and interface with clients
* Experience with AutoCAD and junction design software would be useful but not essential
