Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Dayshift, Monday to Friday
Location: Goole, Doncaster area, easy M62 access and A1 proximity
Pay Range: £43K plus overtime, OTE £45K+

Overview

Key Responsibilities – Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Days)
1. Provide effective planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance to minimize production losses.
2. Ensure continuous production by fault finding and maintaining equipment safely and logically.
3. Perform planned and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime.
4. Work with conveyor systems, PLCs, motors, and controls.
5. Lead electrical and instrumentation repairs and manage CMMS.
6. Diagnose, resolve, and eliminate root causes of faults.
7. Implement minor equipment modifications to enhance performance.
8. Complete scheduled, corrective, reactive, and improvement maintenance tasks.
9. Assist in planning and executing annual equipment overhauls.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Apprentice-trained or NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering maintenance.
2. Experience in manufacturing environments, including heavy, medium, or FMCG sectors.
3. Understanding of PPM schedules and routine preventative maintenance.
4. Ability to find and fix faults efficiently.
5. Basic welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.
6. Fitting, fabricating, and welding experience preferred.
7. Proactive fault-finding approach and commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
