Role
* Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of a high-profile events programme, positioning the firm as a thought leader and trusted partner within its key markets.
* Develop and deliver flagship events, intimate roundtables, and bespoke client gatherings that build brand visibility, strengthen relationships, and drive business development opportunities.
* Oversee venue selection, supplier management, budgeting, and on-site logistics to ensure every event delivers exceptional quality and aligns with brand standards.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, business development, and leadership teams, to align event objectives with broader strategic goals.
* Innovate on event formats and experiences, introducing creative concepts and emerging technologies to enhance audience engagement.
* Build and maintain a calendar of events that balances long-term strategic priorities with timely, market-relevant opportunities.
* Manage event communications, including invitations, collateral, and post-event follow-up, ensuring consistent tone and messaging.
* Analyse event performance, capturing insights and feedback to refine future initiatives and maximise ROI.
Requirements
* Proven track record in events leadership, preferably within a tech scale-up, venture fund, professional services, executive search, or high-growth corporate environment.
* Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines without compromising quality.
* Strong creative instincts paired with an eye for detail, ensuring every aspect of an event is executed flawlessly.
* Excellent relationship-building skills, able to engage effectively with senior executives, clients, and high-profile partners.
* Experience managing budgets, negotiating with suppliers, and optimising resources for maximum impact.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
* A solutions-focused mindset and the agility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances or unexpected challenges.
