3rd Line Engineer (Azure, Automation & VMware Location: North London with parking Job Type: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days homeworking) Salary: up to £55K Bonus package We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join our clients IT team, providing high-level technical support and playing a key role in the design, automation, and improvement of their infrastructure across cloud and on-Prem environments. Key Responsibilities Act as a senior escalation point for 3rd line technical issues Design, support, and optimise Azure cloud services Maintain and support on-prem infrastructure, including Servers, storage, and networking Manage and support VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve efficiency and reliability Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects Key Skills & Experience Strong experience in a 3rd Line/Senior Infrastructure Engineer role Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure O n-Prem infrastructure knowledge (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) Strong VMware experience Experience with automation tools and Scripting (PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or similar) Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPNs) Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring solutions Desirable Skills Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, etc.) Experience with hybrid cloud environments Exposure to DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines Security and compliance knowledge My client is looking to recruit URGENTLY, please send your CV in Word format to be considered for this great opportunity.
