About the Role:
As a History Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
*
Plan and implement creative schemes of work that inspire a love of history
*
Assess, track, and support student progress in line with the national curriculum
*
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, clubs, and enrichment activities
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department to raise attainment
*
Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement, and progress
What We’re Looking For:

A qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) with experience teaching History at secondary level
*
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject
*
The ability to inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds
*
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
*
A team player committed to raising achievement and supporting pupils’ personal development
*
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply via Uniform Education)
