As a result of our clients expansion plans, and continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Senior Finance Manager to be based at a rapidly expanding Head Office in Plymouth. About the Role: As part of a busy department, you will focus on financial performance analysis and review, and provide valuable input into strategic commercial decisions. Oversee and assist in the production of monthly management accounts, including reviewing, understanding, and challenging the figures. Conduct daily and monthly cash flow monitoring and analysis. Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling for the overall business and for specific areas or projects. Act as a finance business partner to key teams throughout the wider business. Identify and implement team and reporting efficiencies. Analyse all income stream performance data, providing recommendations to maximise profitability. Model and project the financial impact of proposed new business scenarios. Perform sensitivity analysis of existing group profitability, proposing areas of opportunity and concern. Complete other ad-hoc tasks as required. Knowledge and Skills: Commercial experience is a must, with retail sector exposure being an advantage. A track record of analysing extensive data to uncover trends, pinpoint issues, and recommend effective strategies. Advanced Excel proficiency, specifically in financial modelling. A recognised professional accounting qualification (like ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent). Strong collaborative and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to deliver precise work, even when facing significant time constraints. A proactive approach to challenging norms and driving continuous improvement. Prior experience in a team leadership role.
