About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and experiencedProduction Line Leaderto drive performance, quality, and efficiency across our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take ownership of production output, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure the highest standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and implement lean production systems in line with business performance standards, focusing on:
o Labour utilisation and efficiency
o Achievement of production targets (OEE)
o Quality control and compliance
o Waste reduction
o Continuous improvement initiatives
* Work closely with the Team Leader to ensure production output meets customer specifications, identifying and reporting any discrepancies in product quality, packaging, or requirements.
* Take ownership of the production line, making decisions, resolving issues, and escalating concerns to management where necessary.
* Drive a culture of quality by working collaboratively with team members and quality auditors, carrying out regular checks and ensuring best practices are followed.
* Mentor and support team members to maintain high standards, addressing and eliminating poor practices that impact product quality.
* Liaise with the maintenance team to resolve equipment issues and ensure machinery operates efficiently.
* Ensure full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), including:
o Equipment control and care
o Processing standards
o Housekeeping
o Personnel practices
* Ensure smooth shift handovers by leaving the production line fully set up for the next team.

* Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by management.
