Role Overview
The Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office, supporting the CEO and executive management team, and maintaining a positive workplace culture. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a productive and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors
- Organise meetings, manage office calendars, and coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and executives
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities, liaising with suppliers and service providers as required
- Supervise administrative staff, delegate tasks, and provide training and support to ensure high performance and development
- Manage correspondence, complaints, and queries, acting as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Process invoices, manage office budgets
- Implement and maintain office policies, procedures, and health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements
- Assist with HR-related tasks such as onboarding, maintaining personnel records, and coordinating staff events
- Support the executive team, including the CEO, with PA duties as required
Person Specification
- Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital tools and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving abilities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience supervising or managing staff is desirable
