We are currently seeking a talented SHEQ Coordinator to join our high performing team. REPORTING TO: SHEQ Lead LOCATION: HQ, Newry CONTRACT TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent HOURS: Monday – Friday Role Responsibilities IMS Management & Document Control Management of the Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring all policies, procedures, and forms are up-to-date and reflect current legislation (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001). Control the versioning and distribution of all SHEQ documentation across the organisation. Manage the digital filing systems to ensure "audit-ready" status at all times. Paperwork Monitoring & Compliance Tracking Monitor weekly and monthly paperwork submissions from all active sites (e.g., site diaries, inspection reports, plant checks, and RAMS reviews). Identify gaps in submissions and proactively chase project teams to ensure 100% compliance. Maintain the company’s training matrix, tracking expiration dates for SOLAS, CPCS, and other safety-critical certifications. Performance Analytics & Reporting Collate raw data from site submissions to produce monthly SHEQ Dashboards for the Senior Management Team. Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as accident frequency rates, near-miss reporting trends, and non-conformance closure rates. Provide early warnings to management when site performance data suggests a decline in standards. Audit Support & Supply Chain Management Coordinate external audits for ISO Manage the Prequalification Questionnaire (PQQ) process for subcontractors, ensuring all partners meet the company's SHEQ standards before they arrive on site. Facilitate internal system audits to verify that office and site teams are following IMS protocols. The Candidate Qualifications & Experience: A minimum of 3 years administrative experience Knowledge of SHEQ in a Construction environment Construction experience is Desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple work fronts. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven project environment. Skills & Attributes: The ability to work as part of cross-functional teams. Excellent communicator, with ability to convey complex information well. The ability to create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly organised in relation to management of tasks and deadlines. Good attention to detail.
