Infrastructure Engineer - Secure Cloud Services
At CGI, you will play a key role in designing and delivering secure, high‑performance infrastructure that underpins mission‑critical systems across the Space, Defence and Intelligence sector. You will help build resilient cloud and on‑premise environments that enable innovation and operational excellence. Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be based on site near Gloucester or in Central London 5 days a week.

Responsibilities
* Design and deliver infrastructure solutions across cloud and on‑premise environments
* Deploy and configure compute, storage and network components
* Integrate and support cloud platforms, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
* Monitor and optimise system performance, availability and reliability
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across infrastructure services
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
* Report and communicate system status, risks and technical updates
Required Qualifications
* Strong experience in infrastructure engineering within enterprise or secure environments
* Strong systems administration skills within enterprise environments
* Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
* Experience with cloud infrastructure or virtualised environments
* Experience with virtualisation technologies
* Proven ability in troubleshooting and incident resolution
* Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
* Experience with container technologies and image management (desirable)
* Knowledge of automation, scripting or secure environments (advantageous)
