Job Title: Conveyancing Paralegal
Location: Horsham, London or Scunthorpe (Office-Based)Salary: £30,000–£40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Benefits: To be confirmed
The Opportunity
A well-established legal team is seeking a skilled and motivated Conveyancing Paralegal to support its growing property department. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters across multiple sites, including London, with a clear path for development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to post-completion, under supervision
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
* Conducting title checks, property searches, and due diligence
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures
* Maintaining accurate case files and documentation
* Providing administrative and legal support to fee earners and the wider team
Candidate Profile
* A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
* Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process from start to finish
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communication skills and the ability to build client relationships
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office
Desirable Attributes
* Experience working across multiple office locations or jurisdictions
* Exposure to commercial conveyancing (advantageous but not essential)
* A proactive attitude and a desire to progress within a legal environment
