I am currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who can take initiative within the classroom and support a Class Teacher with the day to day running of a KS2 class.
A wonderful Primary School in the BS35 area of South Gloucestershire is looking for someone to support within a KS2 class from September.
The Role
As a member of the support staff at this Primary School, you will be expected to work closely with the Class Teacher to understand the range of needs within the classroom, understanding children that may need additional support or guidance.
The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is reliable, flexible and has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant. Someone who can hit the ground running and use their initiative to support the class.
You will be expected to:
* Work collaboratively with the class teacher to assess development.
* Have high expectations for each pupil.
* Create a stimulating and purposeful environment
* Be flexible and adapt activities based on the pupils' needs and emotional feelings.
* Assess and communicate the individuals’ successes and developments.
