Production Planner
Overview
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Production Planner to join their operations team. This role is central to coordinating production schedules, ensuring workflow runs smoothly, and supporting on-time delivery performance. Key Responsibilities
1. Create, maintain, and update production schedules in line with customer demand and operational capacity.
2. Coordinate with procurement and stores teams to ensure timely material availability.
3. Monitor work-in-progress, labour, and machine capacity, making adjustments to prevent delays.
4. Communicate priorities and changes clearly to production supervisors and other stakeholders.
5. Highlight risks, shortages, or potential bottlenecks early and proactively resolve issues.
