A progressive, authorised law firm regulated by the Bar Standards Board is seeking a Construction Solicitor to join on a freelance, fully remote basis. This flexible opportunity is ideal for a self-motivated legal professional with a strong background in construction law and experience working on both national and international projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal advice on construction contracts, disputes, and regulatory compliance.
* Draft, review, and negotiate various construction agreements, including service contracts, subcontracts, and procurement documents.
* Represent clients in dispute resolution processes such as mediation, adjudication, and international arbitration.
* Conduct legal research and remain up to date with industry-specific legislation.
* Support clients in understanding their legal rights and obligations.
* Collaborate with other professionals to deliver well-rounded legal solutions.
* Prepare accurate legal documentation and correspondence.
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate in the UK.
* Proven experience in construction law (domestic and international).
* In-depth knowledge of JCT, NEC, and FIDIC contracts.
* Familiarity with international arbitration and adjudication procedures.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
* A client-focused, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
