Your role with us
As our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) expert you will focus on forecasting and analysis, providing financial insights to enable executives to make informed strategic decisions that align with the Charity’s goals.
In this newly formed and high-profile role you will use your knowledge, experience and FP&A expertise and will have responsibilities that will include:
* Building and managing complex financial models for scenario analysis and strategic planning
* Carrying out proactive analysis to understand performance and identify efficiency improvements across the Charity including root cause analysis, establishing trends and causal relationships, testing multiple scenarios to generate data driven recommendations
* Preparing models for longer-term projections including scenario modelling and what-if analysis to support the Charity’s strategic planning
* Supporting other areas of the charity and the Financial Business Partners with the preparation of business cases including robust investment appraisal
* Supporting the development of collaborative planning in our ERP (Advanced Financials)
As a true Business Partner, you will build strong relationships with your stakeholders gaining an in-depth knowledge of the drivers and challenges that they face to inform the analysis of the results. As we expand our services beyond our current commercial footprint, you will also provide financial support to strategic initiatives and business cases in support of the Charity’s strategy.
Your profile
ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified with sufficient post-qualification experience within a similar FP&A role, you will have significant experience in the creation and presentation of robust financial models and scenario planning.
Experience in growing adult care services or supported transition living is highly desirable.
You will have strong analytical, strategic, problem solving and organisational skills and a strong attention to detail. You will also bring excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial plans/strategies in a visually engaging way.
You will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, confident in presenting to and influencing at Director and Senior Management Level.
