Type of Role: 3 month Fixed Term contract
Location: Remote – Supporting Eastbourne Branch
Salary: £23.00 per evening (17:00-09:00) £260.00 for a full weekend (Fri 17:00 – Mon 09:00)
Hours: ‘0-Hour contract. Evening & Weekend work – minimum of 2 evenings per week and 2 weekends per month but could increase to meet the needs of the business.

The role of On Call Assistant is to promote Prestige Nursing & Care, ensuring full compliance with quality, regulatory and legislative standards. The role requires a proactive response to building key internal and external relationships. An eye for detail is essential as is knowledge of current social care sector conditions and trends.
The main duties of the role will include:
1. Taking calls out of hours and prioritising client/member requests
2. Check availability of staff when shifts are requested and ensure a suitable match.
3. Contact our member to book in shifts
4. Ensure members have full and accurate information about our client
5. Record the booking on our booking system, prior to the shift commencing
6. To replace members in the event of short notice absence
7. Maintain a written log of all calls
8. If a new client enquiry is made out of hours, to check with the branch manager before placing staff.
9. Familiarise yourself with the client details i.e., location, transport links, type of establishment or individuals’ circumstances
10. Build rapport with members
11. First line contact for complaints and to discuss/refer to Branch Manager at the earliest opportunity
12. To understand the policies and requirements regarding Safeguarding issues, so they are dealt with swiftly and appropriately
13. To attend occasional meetings, as required in branch with branch team
14. To always represent Prestige Nursing & Care in a professional and helpful manner

22. Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Outlook.

25. Calm under pressure and ability to solve problems
26. Professional, friendly, and willing disposition.
