Responsibilities

* Develop digital ESOL learning resources (questions, activities, assessments, videos, interactive lessons) aligned with frameworks such as CEFR and other relevant standards.
* Adapt and scaffold content to suit learners at different language proficiency levels.
* Create materials that focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
* Proofread and edit content for accuracy, clarity, cultural sensitivity, and accessibility.
* Integrate multimedia elements (graphics, audio, video, animations) to support diverse learning needs and enhance engagement.
* Collaborate with the wider English content team, graphic designers, and subject experts to produce cohesive and high-quality materials.
* Organise and manage content, ensuring accessibility, categorisation, and version control.
* Stay up to date with developments in ESOL pedagogy, content creation tools, and educational technologies (including AI-assisted approaches).
Requirements
* Recognised ESOL teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, DELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent).
* Previous experience teaching English as a Second or Other Language.
* Strong academic background in English (degree-level or A-level English preferred).
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and proofreading ability.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex language for learners.
* Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
* Familiarity with multimedia tools, digital platforms, and content management systems.
