We are a supporting an SME in their search for a management accountant to join a team of five in this manufacturing business based in Birchwood, Warrington. As a company, they have grown significantly over the last 12 months and are expecting this to continue for the coming years. This is an excellent opportunity, for a candidate to start at the end of January or beginning of February, in a newly created role. Key Responsibilities Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cashflow forecasts Lead budgeting and financial planning processes Manage year-end audit processes and liaise with external accountants Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including VAT and financial regulations Improve financial controls, processes, and systems as the business grows Support commercial decision-making with analysis and recommendations The Ideal Candidate Part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent experience Strong experience in a management accountant role, ideally within an SME Excellent understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cashflow management Confident using accounting software Benefits Hybrid working pattern, once probation is completed Study support Flexible start and finish times 25 days bank holidays Pension Scheme
