* Employment Type: Zero Hour Casual Contract
* Hourly Rate: £25 to £30 Per Hour
* Work Location: Torquay & Truro Area
Job Description
As a Mobile Research Nurse, you will be responsible for administering investigational medications/products, conducting patient assessments, collecting vital information, and adhering to study protocols with utmost accuracy and ethics. Your expertise and caring nature will help us maintain compliance and safeguard the well-being of study patients.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients/participants, ensuring protocol compliance through thorough review and documentation.
* Administer investigational medications/products; perform patient assessments; notify Principal Investigator of findings/issues.
* Perform medical tests such as vital signs, specimen collection, electrocardiograms; process and ship specimens per protocol.
* Educate patients on medication dosages, administration, and disease management.
* Ensure adherence to research policies to maintain ethical standards and protect vulnerable populations.
* Communicate effectively to build open and trusting relationships.
Qualifications
* Relevant Nurse Licensure
* CH-GCP Certification
* Graduate from an accredited BSN, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program
* Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification acute care experience
* Clinical Research experience (desirable)
* BLS certification
* Knowledge of ICH-GCP standards (training available)
* Good IT skills, including mobile devices and Microsoft systems
* Training in Handling and Transport of Hazardous Substances (training available)
* Flexible schedule
* Unencumbered driver’s license and reliable car
