About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering areas such as product design, resistant materials, electronics, and computer-aided design. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that encourage students to explore design briefs, experiment with materials, and utilize modern manufacturing techniques. Assess student progress through project work, design portfolios, and practical assessments, providing detailed and constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the design technology curriculum and participate in extracurricular design clubs and competitions. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design Technology or a related field. A strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and current technologies. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and experience with workshop equipment. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
