We are keen to speak to people who have previous experience in an administrative or coordinator type role who thrives off being highly organised and enjoys reacting and prioritising to a changing workload. Previous sector experience is not essential but a role where you have helped support and schedule teams of engineers would be advantageous. Knowledge of civils, fibre and installations in a FTTP network would be highly desirable. Key transferable skills would include the ability to liaise and deal with people at all levels, both internally and externally, whilst PC literacy and a good understanding of excel is essential. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operational Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support our Break Fix Field Engineering workforce. These would include: Taking receipt of daily / weekly work packages and schedules and produce job packs for the field Engineering teams Handle and resolve any day-to-day enquiries from the field engineers and other internal departments Highlight and support the Operations Manager with any external contractor issues to resolution Assist in the production of reports as required by management and the wider function Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, safely and compliantly Gigaclear is a growing Fibre Broadband (FTTP / FTTH) company, having grown from 100 to 800 employees over the past 6 years, we are developing our fibre-to-the-premises broadband infrastructure to some of the most difficult to reach areas of the UK, empowering those communities with broadband to rival any city.
