Head of Software Engineering
Cardiff | 2 days onsite | £80,000 - £90,000
The Role
* Lead and develop a team of around 12 engineers (mix of permanent and contract staff).
* Provide direction across modern technologies including Power Platform, .NET, and Dataverse, while helping upskill developers from Legacy backgrounds.
* Drive adoption of best practices, agile delivery, and a "one team" culture.
* Work closely with data architects and oversee delivery across multiple projects.
* Act as a mentor and change leader, helping the team embrace a modern tech stack and new ways of working.
About You
* Experienced leader of software engineering or development teams.
* Proven track record managing teams working with Power Platform solutions (Dataverse, .NET, integrations).
* Strong technical background (not necessarily hands-on now, but able to guide and challenge).
* Skilled at leading teams through digital transformation and cultural change.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
