In this role, the successful Accounts or similar will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts and ensuring delivery of timely, high-quality accounts and tax compliance work. In addition, you will preparing and reviewing sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts and tax computations as well as overseeing personal and partnership tax returns. On top of this, you will also be responsible for supervising, mentoring and reviewing work of trainees and junior team members, alongside managing work-in-progress levels and client billing. Finally, you will be responsible for engaging directly with clients, including meeting attendance and project involvement. The ideal Accounts Manager or similar will have a background in the financial services sector, ideally having prior experience in an accountancy practice environment. In addition, you will have proven experience in both accounts' preparation and/or tax documentation. On top of this, you will have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills, alongside a knowledge of SAGE and Xero software systems etc Finally, you will have had previous experience in an Accounts Manager position or a related role.
