Overview
Secure & Complex Services Advocate – Exeter. Join our Advocacy department to support vulnerable adults with profound and multiple needs, advocate on their behalf, and ensure their voices are heard while upholding their rights. You will provide persuasive verbal and written representations, work in partnership with clients and professionals, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality. You will work independently with strong time management skills.
Responsibilities
* Provide persuasive verbal and written representations on behalf of clients.
* Advocate for clients’ needs and preferences in partnership with clients and professionals.
* Work with vulnerable adults in health, social care, or voluntary settings.
* Maintain confidentiality and manage information securely.
Hours, Location & Salary
Hours of Work: Part-time, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
Location: Office based – The Pinhoe Surgery Exeter. Applicants must live within the area, have a full UK driving licence and access to their own transport.
Salary: Starting salary £9,696.96 (full-time equivalent £24,242.40 per annum)

Requirements
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Demonstrable experience working with vulnerable adults in health, social care, or voluntary settings
* Proven ability to provide persuasive verbal and written representations
* Strong time management and computer literacy
* Flexibility, with a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
