Children's Team Manager Are you a compassionate and strategic leader with a strong background in child protection social work? We are currently seeking a dedicated Mou Children's Team Manager to oversee the First Contact/MASH team in Durham on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a vital multi-agency team that plays a crucial role in safeguarding children and supporting families. About the Role: The Mou Children's Team Manager will be responsible for managing a team of social workers and first contact officers, ensuring effective operation of the MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub). The successful candidate will guide the team through periods of change, promote effective communication, and foster a positive working environment. You will support Durham’s safeguarding partners by sharing vital information, making evidence-based decisions, and ensuring responsive and timely interventions for children and families. This role requires confidence in risk identification and response, excellent decision-making skills, and extensive experience in child protection social work. You will work closely with three dedicated social work consultants who will support your management responsibilities.
