As an Advanced Practitioner at our Client's Urgent Treatment Centre, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, timely care to patients with urgent medical needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting assessments of patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries.
* Making accurate diagnoses and formulating appropriate treatment plans.
* Prescribing medications and treatments according to clinical guidelines and protocols
* Collaborating closely with doctors, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
Qualifications:
* Valid NMC/HCPC Registration
* Minor Injury/Illness Level 6 Minimum
* IRMER
* Independent Prescriber (Desirable)
* Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Urgent/Advanced Practitioner in an urgent care, emergency department, or primary care setting.
* Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team
Shifts
* Available 7 days a week, booking up to 3 months in advance - various patterns available including:
* Mornings
* Long Days
* Afternoons/Evenings
This role is in scope of IR35, so payments via PAYE or Umbrella only
