Are you currently working as a Practice Nurse or Respiratory Nurse and looking for a role that offers a structured Monday to Friday working pattern, no evening or weekend clinics and the opportunity to specialise further in respiratory care while remaining in a fully clinical patient focused position?
We are recruiting Specialist Respiratory Nurse Advisors to support patients with Asthma and COPD across primary care as part of a nationally delivered respiratory service working in partnership with GP practices. The role combines practice based respiratory clinics with home working across a defined region and offers an excellent package including company car or allowance, bonus, private medical cover, pension, daily allowance and paid professional fees.
The Client is a leading healthcare service provider delivering nationally recognised clinical programmes across Respiratory, Diabetes and Cardiovascular disease areas. Their services support primary care teams to deliver measurable improvements in patient outcomes through education, partnership working and best practice implementation aligned to national treatment guidelines.
This is a fully clinical role supporting healthcare professionals and patients to optimise respiratory management through structured reviews, education and guideline aligned care in Asthma and COPD.

Recognised qualification or diploma in Asthma, COPD or Respiratory care or relevant respiratory experience

This role will suit an NMC registered nurse who can demonstrate experience supporting patients with Asthma and COPD within primary care or community settings.
Previous Nurse Advisor experience is desirable but not essential. Many successful applicants join from Practice Nurse or Respiratory focused roles within primary care.
