The Role: You’ll provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of employment law matters, working closely with HR and ER teams. From handling Employment Tribunal claims to supporting policy development and large-scale consultations, your expertise will help drive fair, compliant, and effective people practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise on all aspects of employment law including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancy, discrimination, and whistleblowing.
* Manage Employment Tribunal claims end-to-end, including advocacy at preliminary hearings.
* Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
* Support internal investigations and consultations.
* Deliver training and legal updates to stakeholders.
* Deputise for the Senior Employment Counsel when needed.
About You:
* UK-qualified solicitor specialising in employment law.
* Strong communicator with excellent drafting and analytical skills.
* Able to deliver pragmatic, business-focused legal advice.
* Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally.
* In-house experience is welcome but not essential.
