We are looking for an experienced Head of Transport to lead and shape the strategic direction of a large and complex national transport network. Reporting to the Transport Director, this role will play a critical leadership role in delivering operational excellence, driving network performance and shaping the future transport operating model across a major logistics and supply chain operation. You will be responsible for the performance of the primary inbound transport network, working closely with key logistics partners and internal stakeholders, you will lead initiatives that improve cost efficiency, service performance and operational safety across the network. Leading a central transport team, you will play a key role in developing transport strategy, optimising driver resource planning and delivering a high-performing operating model across primary, retail and e-commerce logistics operations.
