We are looking for a creative and energetic individual, with experience of working with vulnerable children and young people in a variety of settings. The successful candidate will have great communication and organisational skills and be able to work sensitively with children and young people of all ages.
You will be responsible for creating resources to support Young Carers and Young Adult Carers both face-to-face and digitally. You will support awareness raising and training regarding the provision of Young Carers Statements and other Young Carer Support.
You will support the management of the website and social media resource.
Additionally, you would be working with young carers individually or in groups providing support and sourcing and providing training to assist in building confidence, self-esteem, resilience and other relevant topics. Your role would include supporting the Young Carers Participation Group.
Own transport is essential. Hours are worked flexibly, and some evening and occasional weekend work will be required.
