The Role in short:
* New sales: (80% of time) using CRM (Pipedrive), cold calls + email campaigns to generate new sales opportunities across the London area
* Account management: (20% of time) of SME clients and handling of inbound leads
* Chance to help build our BDR foundations - working directly with sales director and leadership team
* Earningcommission on lifetime spendof customers and managing some yourself.
* Work (mostly) from home + 1 day a week in London
* Good holiday. Macbook or PC. Training from external sales experts.

Job description:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, gritty Business Development Executive to join our growing commercial team - securing sales opportunities with London businesses that need our kind of smarter same day delivery solutions.
Our ideal BDR is a quick learner, organised with strong written and verbal communication skills, who is not afraid to get on the phone and help business owners understand how Gophr’s award winning delivery services can help them.

Role objectives
* Selling Gophr in London: working alongside the sales team to grow our already established London-based SME client base.
* Convert inbound leads: we get a lot of businesses coming to us for help, and you’ll be working with senior sales execs to help convert these inbounds into active clients.
* Identifying new opportunities: working out what businesses we could help - and how we can find and contact them.
* Grow existing clients: keeping an eye on existing clients to see how their account is running and whether we can help them deliver more.
Responsibilities:
* New sales: using CRM (Pipedrive), cold calls + email campaigns to generate new sales opportunities (80% of time).
* Account management: of SME clients and handling of inbound leads (20% of time)
* Proactively look for new business opportunities
* Set up meetings between prospective new clients and sales executives.
* Report to the sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
Required skills and qualifications:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Gritty and resourceful approach to winning new business
* Confident with Google docs / Microsoft office
* Commuting range from London
Preferred skills and qualifications
* Familiar with CRM software and prospecting tools (e.g. Apollo)
* Logistics experience would be nice, but not required
