Our client, a top global organization, is seeking an experienced ET SCADA Test QA Analyst to support a large-scale critical national infrastructure programme delivering a new SCADA system for high-voltage electricity network operations.
This role sits within a complex multi-supplier environment and focuses on ensuring test quality, governance, and assurance across SCADA and EMS workstreams supporting real-time energy control systems. As a Test QA Analyst, you will be responsible for assuring the quality and completeness of testing across SCADA/EMS delivery streams.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure test artefacts (scripts, scenarios, user stories) meet required quality standards
* Review requirement-to-test mappings for completeness and accuracy
* Validate test coverage against Level 4 processes and requirements
* Ensure adherence to defined test strategy, approach, and governance
* Review test execution evidence to ensure correctness and completeness
* Validate defect logging, prioritisation, and documentation quality
* Support and oversee test readiness across environments and data
* Work with SCRUM teams, Product Owners, SMEs, and suppliers
* Ensure testing is properly represented in user stories
* Ensure defects are raised with sufficient detail and evidence
* Support defect triage and resolution processes
* Identify and escalate testing risks and issues
* Produce test status reports, dashboards, and KPIs
* Monitor progress of test preparation and execution
* Work with environment and test data teams to ensure readiness
* Review integration and system testing for SCADA/EMS systems
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and operational requirements
* Act as “Voice of Test” within assigned workstream
* Strong Test QA / Test Assurance experience
* Hands-on experience in System Integration Testing (SIT)
* Experience with OT systems or real-time control environments
* Understanding of power networks, telemetry, or SCADA systems
* Experience across full test lifecycle (planning to execution)
* Strong test design, scripting, and documentation skills
* Advanced JIRA / XRAY experience (test management & reporting)
* Strong defect management and governance experience
* Ability to work in multi-supplier, complex delivery environments
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management
* Knowledge of IEC 61850, IEC101, IEEE standards
* Experience with SCADA / EMS / control systems
* Integration experience (MuleSoft, Oracle MFT, APIs)
* Experience working in Agile + Waterfall hybrid delivery models
