As a Business Analyst, you will analyze user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with service vision and strategy. You will bridge current and future business models, contribute to business architecture, and act as a critical friend to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. Collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, from project teams to technical staff, will be essential.
The team
The Business Analysis Service primarily supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading and supporting critical change initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities and resources, facilitating decisions that help create better places for people and wildlife and promote sustainable development. Experience/skills Required
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and processes to identify issues and opportunities for informed decision-making.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
* Stakeholder Management: Experience managing relationships with projects, teams, and senior management for successful collaboration.
* Project Delivery: Proven experience delivering projects within structured frameworks, ensuring timely completion.
* Requirements Gathering: Skilled in gathering and documenting clear business requirements.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Proficiency with analysis tools and methodologies.
* Experience working with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
* Familiarity with the Project Delivery Capability Framework.
Additional Information
Three roles are available: two permanent and one fixed-term contract until 30th April 2027. The role supports flexible, hybrid working; some travel may be required.
