Role Overview This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain valuable classroom experience. You will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and behave appropriately while following pre-planned work set by teaching staff. Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor: Deliver pre-set work to classes across various subjects and year groups. Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies. Encourage student participation and engagement in learning activities. Provide feedback to teaching staff on student performance and classroom activity. Support pupils in completing assigned tasks and maintaining a positive attitude. Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues and senior leaders as needed. Job Requirements for Cover Supervisor: Previous experience in an educational or youth setting is desirable.
