Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with adult-focused practitioners in the areas of substance misuse, domestic abuse, and mental health to inform assessments and plans
* Work with children and families facing challenges such as complex neglect, sexual harm, and risks related to child exploitation and parental learning difficulties
* Engage with parents and the wider family network, utilising Family Group Conferencing to identify strengths and address problems
* Support families in changing interactions and behaviours, empowering them to make and sustain meaningful changes in their lives
Qualifications
* Qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England, with experience in working with children and families in a Local Authority team
* Experience within family courts is desirable
* Passion for relationship-based social work and ability to think creatively to build strong relationships with families
* Competency in IT systems, particularly LiquidLogic
* A valid driving licence with access to your own vehicle
