SES Engineering Services are looking for an Electrical Principal Technical Manager to join our SES South team focussing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

What You'll Be Doing
Our Principal Technical Managers are a valuable part of our business, and their role will encompass both work winning and the delivery of live projects whilst providing strong functional leadership, management, governance and excellence for all engineering activities pre and post contract, across either a single large project or portfolio of projects.
As Our Principal Technical Manager, You Will
* Be accountable for adherence to relevant business processes, undertaking Design Reviews, coaching MEP Designers & managing technical actions.
* Attend, contribute & collaborate regarding: 'Making a Great Start' & Strategy Presentations & IPD Workshops.
* Ultimately hold technical accountability for the mechanical engineering services for the project.
* Account for technical assessment, coaching and development of Preconstruction Leaders, Design Project Managers, Project Managers & Engineers.
Given the nature of this position, you will be required to undergo a Basic/Standard/Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at offer stage.

* Proven technical leadership with accountability for Electrical (and wider MEP) engineering services on complex, high‑profile projects.
* End-to-end experience across work winning and live delivery, providing robust governance, assurance and technical excellence pre and post contract.
* A progressive, challenging mindset, bringing fresh ideas that raise standards and enhance technical outcomes across projects and portfolios.
