Responsible Individual – Children’s Home (1 Day per Week) | Day rate: £500/day Location: Barnsley 1 day per week We are recruiting on behalf of a children’s home looking for an experienced Responsible Individual to provide strategic oversight and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. This role offers a flexible, one-day-per-week commitment with a competitive day rate of £500. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the children’s home to ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards. Support and challenge the Registered Manager to maintain excellent care standards. Review policies, safeguarding practices, and quality assurance processes. Produce clear oversight reports and contribute to service development. Promote the welfare and safety of children and young people. What they’re looking for: Proven experience as a Responsible Individual or senior leader in children’s residential care. Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted frameworks.
