The role:
* Make sure the Asset Register is fully up to date by liaising with key personnel and updating as required.
* Complete the Recording of Processing Activities (RoPA).
* Other areas of responsibility:
* Assist the team in providing guidance to colleagues around records and information management
* Assist in the development and delivery of specific training around records and information management for all staff.
* Support the Information Management team regarding the Retention & Disposal Policy.
* Within the area of Information Compliance, this role will:
* Support the Information Management Team to ensure compliance with both the UK General Data Protection Regulation, and other relevant standards, guidance and legislation.
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
* A third-level qualification AND one years' experience working in an Information Governance/Information Management role
OR
* A relevant professional qualification in an information management related area or equivalent AND a minimum of 2 years' experience in an Information Governance/Information Management role
OR
* 5 GCSE's A-C (including Mathematics and English Language) or equivalent AND three years' experience of working in an Information Governance/Information Management role.
This position will be subject to an Access NI check.
