Job Description
The Key Account Manager – Construction services will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with our top 5-10 key accounts in the Construction services sector focusing on the Materials Testing services.
This role requires a strategic mind set, exceptional relationship management skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective account management and business development initiatives.
The main target clients to grow existing revenues from are main Tier 1 construction contractors (such as: Kier, Murphys, Volker, Balfour Beatty).
It does not specifically necessitate an understanding of Materials testing although experience in the construction / infrastructure industry (and the main Tier 1s) is beneficial.
Qualifications
* Proven track record (minimum 5-7 years) in strategic account management, preferably in the Construction / Infrastructure sector
* Demonstrated experience in managing complex client relationships and driving significant revenue growth
* Experience in leading successful bid and tender processes for major contracts
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills
* Knowledge of Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry
* Experience in Materials / Construction / Infrastructure sector
* Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks
